Four days removed from the Atlanta incident between Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski, Scotts, a sponsor of Edwards, said that they have talked to both the driver and owner Jack Roush about the incident.
In a statement released on Thursday, Scotts said that accident caused great concern for them.
“Scotts appreciates the support of NASCAR fans everywhere, and we have an excellent relationship with Carl Edwards, Jack Roush and the #99 Roush Fenway Racing team,” Scotts said in a statement. “However, like many fans, we were very concerned about the on-track incident that occurred in Atlanta this past weekend. As a result, we have strongly expressed these concerns to both Carl and Jack, and we are confident that they have a clear understanding of the trust we have placed in them as ambassadors of our company, our associates and our brands. In addition, as a sponsor, we want to make sure that drivers, race teams and NASCAR focus on keeping these types of incidents and misjudgments from happening.”

Im glad that Scotts knows how seriuos of a infraction this was. Unlike Nascar!!!!!!?????
Screw Scotts. This is a competative sport. If you can’t stand the heat, get out the kitchen. But do try to dictate how some racer should drive.
It’s his butt (Edward’s) sitting in the seat. That is like telling a pilot how to fly a plane, having no experience in the matter.
I hope Edwards and Roush tell Scotts to take a hike.
Speaking of Roush, he crashed another plane today at general aviation’s “Daytona 500″. Once again, he has jeapordized the freedom of thousands of pilots, by trying to be a “hot jet jock”. Each time a pilot pulls a stunt like he did, my freedom to fly is jeapordized.
To do such a thing with all these pilot witnesses is just plain dumb.
